Humberto Fontova talked about his book Exposing the Real Che Guevara and the Useful Idiots Who Idolize Him, published by Sentinel. He argued that the popular image of Che Guevara as a righteous freedom fighter is in reality far off the mark. He said that Guevara was overrated as a soldier and was responsible for the execution of many hundreds of his political enemies. He also talked about Fidel Castro and Cuba. After his remarks, the author signed copies of his books for a while, and then returned to the podium to answer audience members' questions. This event was held in the Rayburn House Office Building.
