Have you seen the Jordan Peterson and Cathy Newman debate? See for yourself how he deals with it and give us your opinion in the comments! We've all found ourselves in conversation and felt attacked like we started off talking about one thing and then the other person twisted our words and before we knew it, we lost our cool, lost respect in their eyes, and maybe even acted like a jerk. Now, I don't normally do the same person twice in a row but this interview between Cathy Newman and Jordan Peterson was just too interesting of an opportunity to discuss how you can handle someone who uses subtle conversational tricks to bully you into looking dumb. So in this video, you're gonna see firsthand some of the most common tricks that people might be using on you and you're also gonna learn how to reverse those so that you can walk out of a kind of aggressive situation having earned more respect than you had going in. So first off, to stop a conversational bully, you have to realize what's going on before it's too late. Now, typically, a person will reveal their aggressive attitude early on with their tone of voice and their word choice. Check out the rest that we will show in this video and how Jordan Peterson tackles them.

Joe Rogan has the most popular podcast on the planet. And I think a huge portion of that can be credited to the fact that his authenticity, especially in the face of conflict, is respected by a huge portion of his audience. So in this video we’re going to talk about 5 things that you can do which will command respect in tough situations without acting like a jerk. The first thing that cannot be discounted is that Joe Rogan is a trained fighter. He knows how to defend himself physically. So he’s more likely to speak up around people who act violent than you would be if you were afraid of getting hurt. Subscribe to Charisma On Command’s YouTube Account: http://bit.ly/COC-Subscribe

How To Get Respect Without Being A Bully - Jordan Peterson https://goo.gl/DLouoh

Jordan Peterson recently expertly handled a debate during an interview with BBC's Channel 4 news (The video was called: Jordan Peterson debate on the gender pay gap, campus protests and postmodernism). And JBP did it without being a bull or being aggressive. So how do we get respect without being a bully? Well, we often think that getting respect and being aggressive go hand in hand. Because unfortunately, it’s often the bully that gets the most respect in the schoolyard and even in the workplace. But Jordan Peterson is an exemplar of a different way to generate massive amount of respect. So in this video we’re going to explore 3 main things he does that force people to respect you WITHOUT being a bully. Now, we focused a lot on respect in this video but that's actually just one out of four emotions that are going to create an amazing first impression on anyone cross-culturally. Now, if you're curious with the other three emotions that you want to create in that person are to make an amazing first impression, I made a video on that that breaks down what those four emotions are so that you can start using them today to consistently make killer first impressions.

3 Mistakes That Butcher First Impressions You might be butchering your first impressions without even realizing it. Not cause you’re a self-absorbed jerk, but because a lot of the most well-intentioned advice you’ve received is incomplete. And if you don’t understand the fine points of when that advice applies and when it doesn’t you might miss out on hitting it off with your next close friend, business partner, or even boyfriend or girlfriend. So I want to shed some light on 3 common first impressions mistakes I see that all stem from good advice gone wrong. 1) Thinking that harmony “getting along” and not causing waves is the most important thing 2) Avoiding disagreements and focusing only on commonalities 3) Thinking "fake it til you make it" applies beyond non-verbal communication
